Brother Alexander Burkett, a Fall 2021 Initiate of Nu Rho, will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Health, & Society with a minor in Psychology. Bro. Burkett was raised in Chesapeake, VA and is widely involved on campus. He is a cadet leader in the Air Force ROTC program, Secretary for Revitalizing and Empowering Vanderbilt’s African American Male Population (REVAMP), a member of HEAL VU’s Health Politics Committee, and a Resident Advisor. He serves as the South Central Province undergraduate board member for Region 2 and was appointed by  Polemarch Dr. Leonard E. Clemons to the Province Bylaws Committee. He was recognized by the Grand Chapter as one of five winners of the Undergraduate Servant Leadership Excellence Award Scholarship. Bro. Burkett aspires to be a Public Health Officer in the United States Air Force, as well as positively impact African American youth through mentorship. A true advocate of Phi Nu Pi and a great young man, Bro. Burkett represents his chapter in all that he does.
